SADWI
Serving the Abused Demoralized & Women Issues

Dr. P. Sethu, Chairman
Mr. Daniel Rathnakar. J, Related Secretary

The YMCA Task group of SADWI’ now focuses on health issues. The slums covered by Children in Crisis Programme are away from city and people have to travel more than 2km to reach the government hospitals and they can not get treated at private clinics and hospitals due to the cost factors.  The people here are vulnerable to many common diseases like Measles, whooping cough and polio, diarrhea and other serious diseases like Dengue, Chikun Guniya, Viral Fevers etc., Therefore SADWI is now giving more importance to health related programmes to provide health care to the people.

Medical Camps

Health is the essence of a good life and access to basic health needs is the prerogative of any individual.  Ensuring health care to the poor, slum dwellers and street children is our main concern.
