Children in Crisis Project

Bharath, 15 years of age, is a street child with habits like Alcohol, smoking, ganja, Inhaling almost all solutions is surviving and fulfilling his needs by rag picking.

Bharath came from a very poor family; he's never been to school. His parents died when he was 12, later he came to streets and was addicted to substances & drugs due to the influence of his peer group. YMCA has tried to have him at the shelters and rehabilitate him but he stays at shelters for a couple of weeks and goes back to street. This is not just a story of one Bharath, there are thousands of Bharaths on the streets of Bangalore.

They don't need sympathy to be shown towards them, but a small act of love, kindness and sharing or keep a part of your time to spend with them listening to their cry for survival. In other words, to make them feel that there is a hope for them in this society.
