It is yet another year of giving thanks to God for all that He has done for the Bangalore YMCA.  God has been with us enabling and encouraging us to move forward in our faiths journey "In everything giving thanks to God, for this is the will of God". 

At the outset I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Almighty God for all His guidance and blessings on all the endeavours of the YMCA Bangalore.

The YMCA Bangalore is committed to its mission reaching out to people of all backgrounds extending its service in order to enhance the quality of life of the individuals and communities. The association endeavors to offer opportunities for personal growth, community involvement and leadership development with a focus on connecting peoples, connecting with youth and communities with compassion and concern for all peoples.

We are committed to physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual development. We demonstrate integrity and trustworthiness, we appreciate diversity strive to be open to all and seek to understand differences and find common ground, we are dependable accountable for choices, actions and commitments. Bangalore YMCA which has pioneered in many areas has had many milestones in its existence.  We celebrated the Centenary year in the Year 2000 and with God's blessings we have celebrated the "Golden Jubilee Celebration" of YMCA College of Physical Education in the year 2008.

The Bangalore YMCA will continue its struggle against oppression, poverty, violence and empower men, women and children in crisis in order to build a just and equitable society. With Almighty God on our side and His blessings, we hope to see many more milestones in the years to come.
