The Young Men's Christian Association is a worldwide social service organization which is based on the principles of Love, Peace, Justice Equality and Sacrifice taught and exemplified by Jesus Christ who is the nucleus of the organization.
The service of YMCA concentrates on providing opportunities for individuals to develop holistically in body, mind and spirit. The YMCA also reaches out to the masses carrying the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to all peoples and communities.
In line with this mission the Bangalore YMCA has been relentlessly working towards building individuals, families, communities and societies where love, peace, justice prevails and people would live in harmony with mutual respect.
YMCA is an ecumenical organization which endeavours to bring people of all faiths together on a common platform to dialogue, understand and respect each other, thereby becoming an instrument of God's love to bring about harmonious global citizenship. |
