Then there are children in crises that are our own society's doing. There are instances that just born girl children thrown in to the dustbins.

And there are parents who chase their grown up children to go to cities to earn living, support their families. The resultant effect is children are compelled to leave their homelands and seek employments in urban situations for their survival and of their families. Difficult situations like higher expectations from the parents drive the young people run away from homes to earn more, to support their families.

Finally, not knowing the realities of urban life they fall victims of corruptive measures to earn livelihood, which even drive them to crimes and other vices. The challenge of YMCA has been to help these young people with shelters, look after them, send them to schools and also to help the grown ups to acquire a skill to learn and start earning for themselves and for their families. There has been instances unwanted children in the age group of 3 years are brought and left in the home whom the Dream HOME is looking after.   There's a lot to be done, it's a burden that we need to shoulder. The task is big; we need the prayers and support of all our members and well-wishers.
